  1. 1. Reservations
    1. 1.1. All reservations are done on inquiry.
    2. 1.2. Quote
      1. 1.2.1. Pricing and Reservations
        1. 1.2.1.1. Quotations are valid at the time of creations.
        2. 1.2.1.2. Prices on your quotation are liable to change at any time and without prior notice.
    3. 1.3. Pending “Payment Type”
      1. 1.3.1. Pricing and Reservations
        1. 1.3.1.1. Accommodation  is confirmed on booking and full payment.
        2. 1.3.1.2. Pricing is as advertised online, there after prices are liable to change at any time and without prior notice.
        3. 1.3.1.3. Should the reservation be altered within the 72 hour period this will constitute as a new reservation and any price changes will be in effect.
      2. 1.4.2. Securing and Finalising Your Reservation
        1. 1.4.2.1. Reservations done with more than 30 days before arrival.
          1. 1.4.2.1.1. A payment equal to 100% of your invoice amount will be required to secure your reservation.
          2. 1.4.2.1.2. Secured Reservations are subject to the cancellations policy contained in clause 4.
          3. 1.4.2.1.3. The reservation must be paid in full on booking confirmation prior to arrival in order to finalise your reservation.
        2. 1.4.2.2. Reservation done with less than 30 days before arrival.
          1. 1.4.2.2.1. A payment equal to 100% of your invoice amount will be required to secure and finalise your reservation.
          2. 1.4.2.2.2. Full payment must be received before arrival at the resort.
          3. 1.4.2.2.3. Secured Reservations are subject to the cancellations policy contained in clause 4.
        3. 2. Amendments
    4. 2.1. The following criteria will specify an amendment.
      1. 2.1.1. Change of Venue/ Accommodation
      2. 2.1.2. Change of Activities or Activity Durations
      3. 2.1.3. Change of Dates in regards to Activities and/or Accommodation.
    5. 2.2. Amendments to reservations must be submitted to your relevant agency in writing.
    6. 2.3. Amendments to reservations can be done up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
    7. 2.4. Only Activities can be amended after arrival at the resort.
    8. 2.5. Activity amendments must be done before commencement of the activities.
      1. 2.5.1. Should you wish to amend an activity after commencement you will be subject to the terms, conditions, policies and indemnities of the resort on site.
    9. 2.6. All amendments will be subject to any price increases after date of the initial reservation.
    10. 2.7. The following fees will apply to amendments:
      1. 2.7.1. Accommodation
        1. 2.7.1.1. Over 30 Days prior to arrival – R40 Fee
        2. 2.7.1.2. 7 to 30 days prior to arrival – R40 Fee
        3. 2.7.1.3. Less than 7 days prior to arrival – 50% Fee on booking Value
      2. 2.7.2. Activities
        1. 2.7.2.1. Over 30 Days prior to arrival – R40 Fee
        2. 2.7.2.2. 7 to 30 days prior to arrival – R40 Fee
        3. 2.7.2.3. Less than 7 days prior to arrival – R40 Fee
        4. 3. Accommodation Upgrades
    11. 3.1. Clients who wish to upgrade to a different unit while on site will need to adhere to the following rules and regulations.
      1. 3.1.1. Fees and charges
        1. 3.1.1.1. Upgrading on-site will constitute a 50% fee on the booked value of the accommodation.
        2. 3.1.1.2. The remaining 50% will be transferred to the value of the new accommodation.
        3. 3.1.1.3. The client will be required to pay the difference in pricing before taking occupation.
      2. 3.1.2. Waiver
        1. 3.1.2.1. Clients agree to be held to all points held within clause 6.
        2. 3.1.2.2. Upgrades requested upon the principle of faults within a unit will still adhere to clause 3.1.1
        3. 3.1.2.3. Should the client not have familiarised himself with the accommodation prior to arrival, the onus will be on the client and the client will adhere to clause 3.1.1
        4. 3.1.2.4. Should the client wish to upgrade due to miss information provided by an agency, the client agrees to still adhere to clause 3.1.1.
        5. 4. Cancellations
    12. 4.1. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to your relevant agency and submitted at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
    13. 4.1.1 Cancellations are not refundable however they can be transferable
    14. 4.2. Accommodation
      1. 4.2.1. The following charges will apply:
        1. 4.2.1.1. Over 30 Days prior to arrival –100% Fee on booking Value
        2. 4.2.1.2. 7 to 30 days prior to arrival – 100% Fee on booking Value
        3. 4.2.1.3. Less than 7 days prior to arrival – 100% Fee on booking Value
    15. 4.3. Activities
      1. 4.3.1. The following charges will apply:
        1. 4.3.1.1. Over 30 Days prior to arrival – 100% Fee on booking Value
        2. 4.3.1.2. 7 to 30 days prior to arrival – 100% Fee on booking Value
        3. 4.3.1.3. Less than 7 days prior to arrival – 100% Fee on booking Value
        4. 5. Late Arrivals, Non Arrivals and Early Check-Out’s
    16. 5.1. Late Arrivals
      1. 5.1.1. It is the responsibility of the guest to notify the resort should they not be arriving on the start date specified in their booking.
      2. 5.1.2. Any accommodation that was not utilized due to a Late Arrival will be forfeit and not subject to refund or vouchers.
      3. 5.1.3. Please refer to clause 6.1 in regards to circumstances related to Late Arrivals.
    17. 5.2. Non Arrivals
      1. 5.2.1. All Non Arrivals will be treated as cancelled bookings and charged according to clause 4.
      2. 5.2.2. No vouchers or refunds will be issued for/to any non-arrivals.
      3. 5.2.3. Please refer to clause 6.1 in regards to circumstances related to Non Arrivals.
    18. 5.3. Early Check-out’s
      1. 5.3.1. Early check-outs will be dealt with as a cancellation and no portion of the holiday will be refundable.
      2. 6. Waiver
    19. 6.1. Afriski & WinterFest™ cannot be held responsible for any non-arrivals or Late Arrivals due to circumstances, foreseen or unforeseen, including but not limited to:
      1. 6.1.1. Traffic
      2. 6.1.2. Weather
      3. 6.1.3. Developments
      4. 6.1.4. Breakdowns
      5. 6.1.5. Strikes
      6. 6.1.6. Illegal Actions of non-Afriski staff & WinterFest™ Staff
      7. 6.1.7. 3rd Party suppliers
    20. 6.2. The client hereby indemnifies AfriSki and WinterFest™ and its partners of any and all costs incurred in relation to unscheduled extensions contained but not limited to clause 6.1. These expenses will be for the clients account.
    21. 6.3. Afriski and WinterFest™ hereby reserves the right to waiver or enforce any resort related charges at our discretion.
    22. 6.4. Air transport, hotels en-route, restaurant en-route and other services are not under the control of the Company. Therefore, the Company shall not in any way be liable as a principle to any person as a result of any act or omission on the part of such suppliers.
    23. 6.5. The Company shall furthermore not be liable for any loss, damage, injury accident, delay, or any other irregularity that may be occasioned by an effect in any vehicle or other form of conveyance including ski equipment, snowboards and bum boards or by error or default of any company or person engaged in conveying passengers carrying out the arrangement of the visit or otherwise in connection therewith.
    24. 6.6. The client shall not hold the Company liable for an injury, damage, illness, accident, death, theft or otherwise that may occur whilst on their holiday.
    25. 6.7. The client undertakes to have adequate insurance to cover any such event.
    26. 6.8. The client hereby agrees to indemnify AfriSki and WinterFest™ and its staff against action and or claims arising from any points mentioned in the clause 5.
    27. 6.9. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that their booking is correct and accurate. Once payment has been received by the client for a booking, be it for accommodation or activities, Afriski will accept the booking as being accurate and without faults and any faults, errors, amendments or corrections will be for the clients account be they prior to arrival or on-site.
    28. 6.10. It is the responsibility of the client to familiarise himself with his chosen accommodation before arriving on the resort using the means created by AfriSki and WinterFest™.
    29. 6.11. Afriski cannot guarantee that all units will not be without fault and the client agrees to indemnify Afriski against any faults found within a unit. Afriski will do all in its power to rectify faults as they are reported. Faults within a unit will not constitute a refund.
    30. 6.12. The client hereby agrees to familiarise himself with the resort Terms, Conditions and policies before accepting this agreement.
    31. 6.13. In the event that there are policies, waivers or terms and conditions not contained within this document, AfriSki  and Winterfest™ will undertake to place notices on-site to inform all guests. The client hereby agrees to familiarise himself with those notices once on-site.
    32. 7. Refund Policy
    33. 7.1. Prior To Resort Arrival
      1. 7.1.1. No refunds  for cancellations.
    34. 7.2. On-Site
      1. 7.2.1. No cash refund will be given by the resort and/or WinterFest™
      2. 7.2.2. Snow Passes + Rented Equipment will only be refunded in the event of an accident during a ski lesson, provided the request is accompanied by a medical certificate issued by our in house medics.
      3. 7.2.3. High winds or mechanical failure may from time to time affect the operation of our lifts but do not qualify for refunds since our team will make every effort to provide alternative lift facilities.
      4. 8. Legal Prosecution
    35. 8.1. Afriski and WinterFest™ reserves the right take legal action against the client should the client not adhere to resort terms, conditions and requirements.
    36. 8.2. Afriski and WinterFest™ reserves the right to utilize all legal means and methods at their disposal in order obtain amounts owing to Afriski and WinterFest™by the client.
    37. 8.3. The client hereby agrees that all legal actions taken by Afriski and WinterFest™ or the client will be for the clients account.
    38. 9. Contract
    39. 9.1. Once payment in whole has been made by the client for a booking, the client shall be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions contained herein as applicable to the contract entered into between Afriski and Winterfest™ and the client.

The only rule is to ”Rock Out”!

If you buy a ticket, don’t forget your accommodation
