The only rule is to “Rock Out”!
Afriski Winter Music Festival postponed
The past few weeks have been a roller coaster ride of mixed feelings and emotions. Life, as we know it, has certainly changed. The time spent in lockdown has given us time to reflect and take a critical look at our business as well as how we plan to adjust and accommodate the new normal.
The COVID-19 restrictions imposed by both the South African and Lesotho governments have forced us to make some difficult decisions over these past few weeks. The most significant of these is to cancel or postpone all formal winter events until the 2021 ski season.
As a result, and after much deliberation with our event partners and sponsors, we’ve had to make the tough call to postpone WinterFest 2020 to a new date in 2021.
We appeal to all WinterFesters to support our new date in 2021 and to embrace this necessary change. We have always delivered a known and loved value-for-money experience and will do so once again in 2021.
Should anyone be unable to attend the new festival dates, we would like to offer you the opportunity to benefit from monies already paid to Afriski Mountain Resort by moving your booking to another date during the 2020/2021 winter seasons.
On a more positive note, we are still preparing to have a great ski season at Afriski Mountain Resort. With the first cold snap of winter delivering two snowfalls, we are very hopeful for lots of snowfall on our slopes and around the Resort.
So, if Winterfest was on your agenda, consider visiting us at the Resort during our winter season regardless and take advantage of the uncrowded slopes.
We hope to see you all at the WinterFest 2021 event.
Dates will be announced soon both here and on our social channels so keep checking back!
Sending you snow angels from Afriski Mountain Resort
